I have hunted squirrel all my life and they are one of my favorite critters to eat. Fry them up and put them in a pressure cooker for about 20 ~ 30 minutes with some flour and the grease from the skillet and you’ve got a squirrel and gravy feast! It just don’t get any better than that!

The Hav-a-hart trap works just fine on squirrels. Don’t bother relocating them. Takes too much time and gasoline. Just just plunge the whole trap with the rat inside into a waste barrel filled with swamp water and in 30 seconds you’re ready for the next one. Dead, rotting squirrels make great bait for the raccoon trap, too. Think green and waste nothing.

Ahh Britney Spears. Recently I’ve become her number 1 devotee and can not get too much information or postings about Britney’s media coverage. Be it hair cutting, muddy videos, wedding failures or just a new pop single there is a great deal happening about her. Now eating squirrel as a child – has this been the root cause of her issues?

This is not about stinky old Britney, (poor little misguided popsicle), this is about those G-damn squirrels and the fact that they carry diseases and are chewing, hoarding, feces laying nuisances. I enjoy plinking them off with my Anschutz .17 HM2 Caliber Rifle and letting the local birds of prey and crows (shoot them too) finish the scraps. Takes up my time now that I’m not driving any more.

I have a dear friend that is a squirrel. Squirrels do have an odd reputation but I think it is justified that they are cute. Maybe not innocent.
